Una mappa dell'Oerik occidentale, secondo il Chainmail Core Rulebook (2002)
l'Oerik Occidentale è la regione che si trova ad ovest rispetto alle Flanaess. L'Oerik Occidentale descritto è diviso geograficamente dal resto di Oerik dalla catena montuosa più grande di tutto Oerik. Confina ad est con il Mare Celestiale, il Golfo di Ra e l'Oceano delle Tempeste, a sud confina con il Mare del Tuono, ad ovest con il Golfo di Ishtar, l'Oceanum Titanicum e il Mare Mysticum, infine a nord con il Mare Jotumheim.
La regione di Nuova Empyrea dovrebbe trovarsi oltre l'Oceano Solnor, quindi da qualche parte nell'Oerik occidentale.
